Short answers, no jargon.

1Do I need a LandLens account?

Yes, the free one. Your AI signs in with your phone number, and credits come from your LandLens wallet.

2Can it spend without asking?

Every check carries its price, and your AI is told to say it before running. A check that finds nothing is not charged. Bigger jobs, like an encumbrance certificate pull, come back as a quote you approve, and the quote is valid for 30 minutes. An app you connect by signing in can spend at most 500 credits a day, and a key stops at the daily cap you give it.

3Which apps work?

Claude, ChatGPT and Perplexity connect with your LandLens sign-in, and so do Claude Code and Codex. Cursor, Windsurf, OpenCode, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot in VS Code, Zed and any other app that takes an MCP server use the same link; if an app cannot sign in, give it a key from your dashboard instead. Scripts and Custom GPTs use the plain HTTP API.

4How do I disconnect?

On your LandLens dashboard under API and MCP, tap Disconnect next to the app, or Revoke next to a key. It takes effect on the next question.

5Is my data safe?

Your AI only sees the answers to what you ask and your balance. It never sees your phone number, your projects or your documents. Owner names and figures come from the government registers as published, with the same limits as the LandLens chat.

6What does it cost?

The same credits the LandLens chat charges, from the same wallet. Many checks are free; a register lookup is usually one or two credits; a certificate pull is quoted first.

7Can my AI read LandLens Intelligence?

Yes, on the enterprise plan. The 11 Intelligence tools (market pulse, project and developer profiles, the approvals pipeline, delivery, areas, registered sales and prices, site scan, launch watch, news) answer the same figures as the pages and cost no credits. Without the plan they answer with the plan page and charge nothing.

Fair use. The checks are for your own land and your clients' deals. Bulk harvesting of owner names is refused at the source, and a connection seen doing it is disconnected.
