1. General Refund Policy

1.1. This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through the LandLens platform operated by GEN Z REAL ESTATE (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED under the brand Verified.RealEstate.

1.2. By purchasing credits or services, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.

1.3. We strive to provide high-quality property verification services. If you are not satisfied with our services, we offer fair and reasonable refund options as outlined below.

1.4. All refund requests are subject to the terms and conditions specified in this policy and our discretion based on the circumstances of each case.

2. Credit Purchase and Refund

2.1. Credit System Overview:

LandLens operates on a credit-based system where users purchase credits to access property verification services. Credit usage is based on document pages: 10 credits for up to 100 pages, with an additional 4 credits for every 50 pages beyond that.

2.2. Refundable Credits:

  • Unused credits are eligible for refund within 90 days of purchase date
  • Refund amount is calculated based on the original purchase price minus any discounts applied
  • Promotional or bonus credits are non-refundable
  • Credits received through referral programs are non-refundable

2.3. Non-Refundable Credits:

  • Credits used to generate any report (partial or complete)
  • Credits purchased more than 90 days ago
  • Bonus or promotional credits
  • Credits transferred from another account
  • Credits purchased as part of a promotional bundle with special pricing

2.4. Processing Fee:

A processing fee of 5% (minimum INR 50) may be deducted from credit refunds to cover payment gateway charges and administrative costs.

3. Report Generation Refunds

3.1. General Non-Refundability:

Once a property verification report has been initiated or generated, the credits used are non-refundable because:

  • Third-party data procurement costs are incurred immediately
  • External data procurement fees are non-recoverable
  • Processing resources have been utilized
  • Intellectual effort in analysis cannot be reversed

3.2. Exceptions - Credit Restoration:

Credits may be restored (not cash refund) under the following circumstances:

  • Invalid Survey Number: If the property survey number provided was incorrect and no valid data could be retrieved
  • Duplicate Request: If you accidentally initiated the same report twice within 24 hours
  • Technical Failure: If our system failed to generate the report due to our technical issues
  • Data Unavailability: If required data is completely unavailable from all sources and no report can be generated

3.3. Partial Credit Restoration:

You may be eligible for partial credit restoration (up to 50% of credits used) if:

  • The report is significantly incomplete due to data source limitations beyond our control
  • Major sections of the report could not be populated
  • There are material errors in the report caused by our processing

4. Service-Specific Refund Terms

4.1. Standard Property Due Diligence:

  • Non-refundable once report generation is initiated
  • Credit restoration available only for technical failures on our end
  • Results depend on data availability from external sources

4.2. Document OCR and Analysis:

  • Non-refundable once document processing begins
  • Re-processing available at no charge if upload was corrupted
  • No refund for user-uploaded documents of poor quality

4.3. AI-Powered Q&A:

  • Credits consumed per query are non-refundable
  • Responses are generated based on available data

4.4. Premium Data Procurement:

  • External data procurement charges are non-refundable once ordered
  • Pricing includes service fees and data procurement charges
  • Refund available only if data cannot be obtained from sources

5. Enterprise Subscription Refunds

5.1. Annual Subscriptions:

  • Pro-rated refund available within first 30 days of subscription
  • After 30 days, refunds are at company discretion
  • Usage fees for consumed services will be deducted from refund

5.2. Monthly Subscriptions:

  • Cancellation takes effect at end of current billing cycle
  • No pro-rated refunds for partial month usage
  • Must cancel at least 7 days before renewal date

5.3. Custom Enterprise Agreements:

  • Refund terms as specified in individual enterprise contracts
  • Contact your account manager for specific terms
  • SLA credits may apply for service level breaches

5.4. API Access:

  • API call credits are non-refundable once consumed
  • Unused API quota does not roll over unless specified
  • Integration support fees are non-refundable

6. How to Request a Refund

6.1. Refund Request Process:

  1. Log in to your LandLens account
  2. Navigate to "Settings" > "Billing" > "Request Refund"
  3. Select the transaction you wish to refund
  4. Provide reason for refund request
  5. Submit supporting documentation if applicable
  6. Our team will review and respond within 48 hours

7. Refund Processing Timeline

7.1. Review Period:

  • Initial review: Within 48 hours of request
  • Decision communication: Within 5 business days
  • Complex cases may require additional 5-7 business days

7.2. Refund Disbursement:

  • Credit card refunds: 5-7 business days
  • UPI/Net Banking: 3-5 business days
  • Wallet refunds: 1-2 business days
  • Bank transfers: 7-10 business days

7.3. Refund Method:

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase. In exceptional cases, we may offer:

  • Credit restoration to your LandLens account (instant)
  • Bank transfer (if original method unavailable)

8. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following circumstances:

  • User Error: Incorrect property details, survey numbers, or document uploads provided by you
  • Change of Mind: Simply deciding not to use purchased credits or services
  • Expected Results: Dissatisfaction with legitimate report findings that accurately reflect property status
  • Third-Party Issues: External data source unavailability or delays outside our control
  • Policy Violations: Account suspension due to terms of service violations
  • Expired Credits: Credits that have passed the 90-day refund window
  • Promotional Items: Free credits, bonus credits, or promotional offers
  • Completed Services: Reports that have been successfully generated and delivered
  • Downloaded Reports: Any report that has been downloaded or exported
  • Shared Reports: Reports shared with third parties

9. Service Guarantee

9.1. Quality Commitment:

We stand behind the quality of our services. If you encounter any of the following issues, we will work to resolve them:

  • Technical errors in report generation
  • Significant data inaccuracies caused by our processing
  • Platform downtime affecting service delivery
  • Missing sections in reports due to system errors

9.2. Resolution Options:

Depending on the issue, we may offer:

  • Re-generation of the report at no additional cost
  • Credit restoration for future use
  • Partial or full refund (in exceptional cases)
  • Extended platform access or bonus credits

9.3. Limitation:

Our guarantee does not cover issues related to:

  • Data accuracy from third-party external sources
  • Interpretation of legal or regulatory information
  • Property-related decisions made based on our reports

10. Cancellation Policy

10.1. Account Cancellation:

  • You may cancel your account at any time
  • Unused credits at time of cancellation follow standard refund rules
  • Generated reports remain accessible for 30 days post-cancellation
  • Data retention follows our Privacy Policy guidelines

10.2. Service Cancellation:

  • Report generation cannot be cancelled once initiated
  • Pending data procurement requests cannot be cancelled
  • Subscription renewals must be cancelled before billing date

10.3. Our Right to Cancel:

We reserve the right to cancel services and issue refunds if:

  • We cannot fulfill the service due to circumstances beyond our control
  • Data sources become permanently unavailable
  • Legal or regulatory requirements prevent service delivery

11. Chargebacks and Disputes

11.1. Chargeback Policy:

Filing a chargeback with your bank or credit card company without first attempting to resolve the issue directly with us may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of your account
  • Forfeiture of any remaining credits
  • Potential collection action for disputed amounts
  • Permanent ban from our platform

11.2. Dispute Resolution:

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any billing concerns. We are committed to finding fair resolutions for legitimate issues.

11.3. Fraudulent Chargebacks:

If a chargeback is determined to be fraudulent (e.g., services were delivered as promised), we reserve the right to pursue legal remedies and report the incident to relevant authorities.

12. Taxes and Fees

12.1. All prices displayed are inclusive of applicable GST (Goods and Services Tax) at 18%.

12.2. Refund amounts will include the GST portion paid.

12.3. We will issue appropriate credit notes for refunded transactions as required by GST regulations.

12.4. Payment gateway fees (typically 2-3%) may be non-recoverable and excluded from refunds.

13. Policy Amendments

13.1. We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time.

13.2. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

13.3. Purchases made before policy changes will be governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
