Certified copy of a deed

The official certified copy of any registered document, ordered from the sub registrar office that holds it: give the document number, year and office and the copy is fetched, stored on your account and sent to you.

10 credits per run

Ten credits and the government fee for a copy we have to fetch. A copy already on your account is shown again for nothing. You approve every run first.

What we need

One thing at a time. Fill it in and press Run.

As the registration endorsement prints it. The year may be written in ("10534/2024") or given below.

Leave empty when the year is already in the document number.

The office where the document was registered, not the office nearest the land. Use the locality name the endorsement prints.

You will see the price and your balance before it runs.

The answer

From the register, with its date and source.

Nothing run yet. The answer appears here with everything this mini adds:

  • The office code the order needs is resolved from the office name
  • A copy already bought on this account is returned free, never ordered twice
  • The copy is stored on your account and sent to you when it lands

How this works

What it reads, what it needs, and how to read the answer.

What it does

A certified copy is the registration department's own attested copy of a registered document. It is what a bank, a court or a buyer accepts when the original is lost, held by a lender, or simply not with you. This mini orders it from the office that registered the deed.

What you give it

The document number, the year, and the sub registrar office where it was registered. All three are printed on the registration endorsement, and the document numbers on an encumbrance certificate carry the first two.

How to read the result

The card names the document and the office, and links the copy once it is in. A copy usually takes between half an hour and about a day and a half; you do not have to keep the page open, because it is stored on your account and sent to you.

Where the data comes from

The registration department's certified copy counter, ordered and paid for on your behalf.

Questions people ask

Short answers, no jargon.

What does it cost?

Ten credits plus the government fee for the copy. A copy this account already bought costs nothing: the one already held is shown again.

How long does it take?

Usually between half an hour and about a day and a half, depending on the office. It is stored on your account and sent to you the moment it arrives.

The office will not supply it automatically.

Our team then obtains the copy by hand. The order is not abandoned and the fee is not wasted.

Which office do I give?

The office that registered the document, which is printed on the endorsement. It is not always the office nearest the land, because jurisdictions have changed over the years.
