Three registers in one search box
A RERA agent is a real estate broker registered with the state Real Estate Regulatory Authority, which the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 requires before they sell units in a registered project.

An order against a promoter is one complaint on one project, and no order does not mean no dispute. A registered agent is not a guarantee about the property. Check the project on the RERA project register and the land's title and encumbrance separately.

How do I check whether an agent is RERA registered?
Choose the agents register, type the agent's name or RERA registration number and press Run. A registered agent shows with the status and the date the registration is valid to.
My agent is not listed.
An agent selling units in a RERA registered project must be registered. Ask for the registration number and search it. An agent may also be registered under a firm's name, so try that too.
How do I find RERA complaints against a builder?
Choose complaint orders and judgements, type the promoter or project name and press Run. The orders are listed newest first with the complainant, the respondent, the project and the date of the final order.
What is a regularised layout?
An unapproved layout that has since been regularised, as the RERA register of regularised layouts records it, with its registration number, site and promoter.
Why does a layout say "promoter only"?
The place you typed appears only in the promoter's office address, not the layout's own name or site. Those matches are listed after the ones at the place itself.
Is it charged when nothing matches?
No. The price is shown beside the Run button.
