The state GIS portal maps slum boundaries for five municipal corporations, and names the Chennai ones with their ward and zone. This mini lists what the map holds for a corporation, a Chennai zone or a Chennai ward.

Each row is one mapped slum area. Areas outside Chennai are mapped without names, wards or zones. An empty list is not a clearance: check the numbers, and remember the map is not the notified list.
The state GIS slum boundary map, published on the Tamil Nadu GIS portal. It is not the list of areas notified under the Tamil Nadu Slum Areas (Improvement and Clearance) Act, 1971.

The map records ward and zone numbers only for Chennai slum areas.
