Is this survey Bhoodan land
Whether the revenue register records the survey under a pin as held by the Tamil Nadu State Bhoodan Yagna Board, whose land a private seller cannot transfer.
What we need
One thing at a time. Fill it in and press Run.
The answer
From the register, with its date and source.
Nothing run yet. The answer appears here with everything this mini adds:
- The survey located from the pin and checked against the Board-held parcels the registers record
- A hit on a sibling sub-division of the same survey reported separately from a hit on the parcel itself
- What an empty answer does and does not prove, said plainly
How this works
What it reads, what it needs, and how to read the answer.
Land given in the Bhoodan movement vests in the Tamil Nadu State Bhoodan Yagna Board under the Bhoodan Yagna Act 1958, and the Sub-Registrar must refuse a private deed for it. No portal publishes a Bhoodan register, but the revenue registers name the Board as holder on the land it has not yet granted out. This mini checks the survey under the pin against that signal.
A pin on the map.
1A pin on the map- The survey located from the pin and checked against the Board-held parcels the registers record
- A hit on a sibling sub-division of the same survey reported separately from a hit on the parcel itself
- What an empty answer does and does not prove, said plainly
Charged when the register answers, whether it holds a record or not: a clear answer is the answer. You see your balance before you approve, and only a search that fails is not charged.
An indicator means the register names the Board on the survey, or on a sibling sub-division. No indicator is not a clearance: granted Bhoodan land carries the grantee's name and shows only in the old encumbrance certificate or the grant order.
The revenue A-register and the town survey land register, read for the Board's recorded forms in Tamil and English.
Questions people ask
Short answers, no jargon.
No indicator means it is not Bhoodan land?
No. It means the registers we hold do not name the Board on that survey. Land the Board has already distributed carries the beneficiary's name and is invisible here.
What do I do with a hit?
Get the Board's position in writing and read the encumbrance certificate back to the 1950s before paying anything. Section 22-A(1)(iii) of the Registration Act bars the deed.
Why is it charged?
It is a register lookup we maintain; one credit per pin, waived when the parcel cannot be resolved.
