Why is a rate not converted like an area?
Because it moves the other way. One cent is 435.6 square feet, so a rate per cent becomes a smaller number per square foot, while an extent in cents becomes a bigger number in square feet.
What is a price per acre in cents?
An acre is 100 cents, so a price per acre divided by 100 is the price per cent. Rs 2 crore per acre is Rs 2,00,000 per cent.
