What this Gazette issue is

The Government of Tamil Nadu published the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Part VI, Section 1, No. 14, dated April 6, 2016. It contains notifications of interest to the general public issued by Heads of Departments, and a judicial notification issued by the High Court, Madras.

• Property owners and buyers whose land falls within the listed Local Planning Areas and the specific villages and survey numbers mentioned in the land use schedules.
• Developers and planning professionals working in Coimbatore, Tiruchirappalli, Madurai, Mamallapuram and Gummidipoondi Local Planning Areas.
• People dealing with certain criminal cases in Kancheepuram District, due to the judicial appointment.

Master plan variations published in this issue

These notifications state that variations are made to approved master plans, by changing entries in the land use schedules for specified survey numbers.

• Coimbatore Local Planning Area (G.O.(2D) No.17, Housing and Urban Development Department, UD 4(1), dated 20.01.2016)

  • Madukkarai Taluk, Thirumalayampalayam Village, Notified Detailed Development Plan Area: survey numbers 158 to 160 are revised so that 158/1 and 158/3 are treated differently from the rest.
  • Residential entry is updated to include 158/1 and 158/3.

• Tiruchirappalli Local Planning Authority (Notification No. VI(1)/123/2016, Member Secretary, Tiruchirappalli Local Planning Authority, dated 30th March 2016)

  • Kottapattu Village, Tiruchirappalli Corporation: land use schedule entries are changed for S.F.No.192, including a part identified as New Ward AW, Block No.1, T.S.No.76/4 (Area: 4047 sq.m.).

• Madurai Local Planning Area (G.O (2D) No.34, Housing and Urban Development Department, UD4(1), dated 22-02-2016)

  • Malamadai Bit-II: specified survey numbers are moved from Residential use zone to Public and Semi Public use zone.
  • Vandiyur Bit-I: specified survey numbers are moved from Commercial use zone to Public and Semi Public use zone.

• Mamallapuram Local Planning Authority (G.O (2D) No.44, Housing and Urban Development Department, UD 4(1), dated 25.02.2016, variation notification No. VI(1)/126/2016, dated 1st April 2016)

  • Kadambadi Village: survey numbers are reclassified across Agriculture use zone, Mixed Residential use zone and Educational use zone by substituting and adding specific sub divisions.

• Gummidipoondi Local Planning Authority (G.O(2D) Ms.63, Housing and Urban Development Department, UD 4(1), dated 03.03.2016)

  • States that Government permitted change of land use of survey numbers by making variation to the master plan for the Gummidipoondi Local Planning Area.

Judicial notification in this issue

The High Court, Madras, issued a notification (Roc. No. 14492/2016/B6, No. VI(1)/128/2016, No. 33/2016) dated 17th March 2016.

• Tmt. L. Maithily, Probationary Deputy Collector, is appointed as Special Judicial Magistrate in Kancheepuram District for 180 days on a part time basis from the date of assumption of office.
• She is given powers to try cases earlier tried by an erstwhile Judicial Second Class Magistrate, for completing Magisterial Training in Kancheepuram District, and the powers may be withdrawn when she completes training and is conferred ordinary powers under the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973.
