Errata to Notification (357 Ex II 2 v2)

What the errata covers

The Government of Tamil Nadu issued the errata for Notification No. II(2)/TRA/662(f-1)/2018, published on page 46 of Part II, Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, Issue No. 275, dated 31 July 2018. That notification was a notice under section 3(1) of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997 and was approved by the Transport (I.2) Department in G.O. (Ms.) No. 246 dated 31 July 2018.

The corrections were published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary on 17 October 2018 through Letter No. 10293/I.2/2018-1.

Corrected survey entries

The Errata to Notification changes the following wet land measurements:

• Entry 107, Survey No. 301/2B1, is corrected from 0.05.0 hectares to 0.05.5 hectares.
• The owner or person interested for entry 107 remains the Commissioner, Block Development Office, Kundrathur at Padappai.
• Entry 108 is shown in corrected form as Survey No. 301/2C1 Part, with its extent changed from 0.07.7 hectares to 0.07.5 hectares.
• The owners or persons interested for entry 108 remain Nagarajan, son of Damodaran, Baskaran, son of Damodaran, Sampathkumar, son of Damodaran, and EVP Estates, at the addresses printed in the notification.

Revised abstract

The Errata to Notification also revises the overall land figures in the abstract:

• Wet land is corrected from 6.13.1 hectares to 6.12.9 hectares.
• Dry land remains 0.16.3 hectares.
• The total is corrected from 6.29.4 hectares to 6.29.2 hectares.
• The stated total in acres remains 15.54 acres.

Who may be affected

The corrections are relevant to the Commissioner, Block Development Office, Kundrathur at Padappai, the people and entity named against Survey No. 301/2C1 Part, and anyone examining the acquisition notice for Survey Nos. 301/2B1 or 301/2C1 Part. A property buyer, owner or professional reviewing these entries should read the corrected measurements rather than the measurements originally printed on 31 July 2018.
