What the notification does

The Government of Tamil Nadu's Heads of Departments notification, reference number Na.Ka. 4425/03/10, concerns associations registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975. It identifies 61 associations as potentially inactive because they had failed to file required annual returns with the District Registrar's office for more than three consecutive financial years.

Relevance to property owners and buyers

The Gazette notification deals with the registration status of the listed associations. It does not state that any land title, planning approval, building approval or property transfer is cancelled.
