What this Gazette contains

Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Part VI, Section 1, No. 44, dated November 14, 2012 publishes four separate notifications of public interest. Draft variation for Thangavel Nagar, Pattukottai

The Commissioner of Town and Country Planning, Chennai, in Proceedings Roc. No. 18708/2005/DP3, dated September 2012, proposes a comprehensive variation to the approved Thangavel Nagar Area Detailed Development Plan of Pattukottai Local Planning Area.

Key points:

• The earlier approved plan was approved in Director of Town and Country Planning Proceedings Roc. No. 42211/90/DP3, dated 29th October 1990.
• The varied plan is numbered Map No. 5 DDP(V)/DTCP No. 20/2012.
• Any person affected or interested may submit objections or suggestions within sixty days from the date of publication in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.
• Representations can be made in person or in writing to the Member-Secretary, Local Planning Authority.
• The variation with plan may be inspected free of cost during office hours at the Local Planning Authority office.
• The detailed development clauses and schedules become enforceable only from the date of publication of the confirmed variation notification under Section 33(2).

Approved Detailed Development Plan No. 10, Tiruchengode

The Director of Town and Country Planning approved Detailed Development Plan No. 10 for Tiruchengode Local Planning Authority in Naka No. 15876/2010, TP(I), dated 19-6-2012. The Gazette sets out the plan boundary on the north, east, west and south, lists the included town survey numbers, and states the extent as 52.48.5 hectares.

Key points:

• The plan area is specifically defined by boundary descriptions and T.S. numbers.
• It comes into operation from the date of publication of the notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.
• A copy of the map will be kept for inspection and also available for sale during office hours in the office of the Local Planning Authority for three months.

Master Plan variation for Coimbatore, Billichi Village

Coimbatore Local Planning Authority, in Roc. No. 768/2012/LPA-3, makes variations to the approved Master Plan for the Coimbatore Local Planning Area. The change is in the land use schedule for Coimbatore Taluk, No. 05 Billichi Village, in the non notified detailed development plan area.

Key points:

• Certain survey numbers are added to the Residential category, MR4.
• The Agricultural category, AG4, is revised so that the listed exceptions are removed from agricultural use and reflected in the residential entry.
• This matters to owners and buyers of the listed lands in Billichi Village because the Gazette changes how those survey numbers are classified in the Master Plan.

Judicial notification

The High Court of Madras directs that appeals from the decrees or orders of the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, Vedasandur shall be preferred in the Court of Subordinate Judge, Vedasandur, from the date on which the Subordinate Judge, Vedasandur assumes charge.
