Gazette notifications on planning variations and one co-operative society winding up

What this gazette contains

The Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Part VI, Section 1, dated November 14, 2018 contains several public notifications that may matter to land owners, buyers, developers and members of one industrial co-operative society.

The planning notifications were issued by the Commissioner of Town and Country Planning, and related follow up notices were also issued through local planning authorities. A separate notification was issued by the Principal Secretary, Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce and Registrar of Industrial Co-operatives.

Planning changes covered

Kumbakonam Detailed Development Plan No. 4

The Commissioner of Town and Country Planning, in Roc.No.11767/2018/DP2 dated 17-10-2018, proposed a draft variation to the Review Approved Kumbakonam Detailed Development Plan No. 4 of Kumbakonam Local Planning Area.

Key points:

• The proposal is for deletion of part 40 feet wide existing road and part park.
• It concerns T.S.No.2217 and 2680, Ward 6, Block 43 and 45, in Kumbakonam Municipality, Kumbakonam District.
• Any affected or interested person may submit objections or suggestions within sixty days from publication in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.
• The plan can be inspected free of cost during office hours at the Kumbakonam Local Planning Authority office.

Thimmasamudram Detailed Development Plan No. 1

The Commissioner of Town and Country Planning confirmed a variation for Thimmasamudram Panchayat and Village, Kancheepuram Taluk and District.

Key points:

• The confirmed change converts agricultural use zone into industrial use zone.
• It covers Survey No.25/1, 2, 3, 26/1A, 1B, 5 and 29/4.
• The extent mentioned is 8.28 acre.
• The notification says no objections or suggestions were received within the stipulated time.

Thoothukudi Local Planning Area

The Government permitted a change of land use in certain survey numbers by varying the consented Master Plan for the Thoothukudi Local Planning Area.

Variations were made to the approved Master Plan for the Coimbatore Local Planning Area, in Annur Taluk, Kallipalayam Village.

• Under Agricultural (AG9), the survey number range was revised so that 395/2 is excluded.
• Under Residential (PR5), Survey No.395/2 was added.

Co-operative society winding up

The Principal Secretary, Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce and Registrar of Industrial Co-operatives, Chennai, by Proc. Rc. No.21129/ICF/2017 dated 17-10-2018, ordered the winding up of the affairs of the Cuddalore District Minority Auto Drivers Industrial Co-operative Society Ltd., IND No. 12/CRE, Virudhachalam, Cuddalore District.

Key points:

• The winding up takes immediate effect.
• The Assistant Director of Industries and Commerce (Industrial Co-operatives), District Industries Centre, Cuddalore was appointed as Official Liquidator.
• This affects the society and its members directly.
