Key points:

• The Government, in G.O.No.(2D) No.176, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(1)] Department, dated 11-11-2019, permitted change of land use of certain survey numbers.
• The variation is to the consented master plan for the Thoothukudi Local Planning Area published through G.O.Ms. No.71, Housing and Urban Development (UD4(2)) Department, dated 10-02-2000.
• In Meelavittan Village, Village No.24, the listed survey numbers were under Agricultural Use Zone.
• Survey Nos. 1023/1A, 1023/1B, 1023/2, 1024, 1025, 1026/1, 1026/2, 1027, 1029/1, 1029/2, 1030/1 and 1030/2 are newly added in III (b) General Industrial use zone.

Thoothukudi Local Planning Area, Kilarasadi Village

The notification titled Variations to the Consented Master Plan for the Thoothukudi Local Planning Area, Roc. No. 1171/2017/TULPA, was issued by the Member Secretary (In-charge), Thoothukudi Local Planning Authority, at Thoothukudi on 13th February 2020.

Key points:

• The Government, in G.O.No.(2D) No.140, Housing and Urban Development (UD4(1)) Department, dated 09-09-2019, permitted change of land use of certain survey numbers.
• In Kilarasadi Village, Village No.63, land use entries are revised within the master plan schedule.
• Survey Nos. 3/2, 3/3 and 15/7 are added in III (b) General Industrial use zone.
• The agricultural entry is correspondingly revised to exclude those portions.

Mamallapuram Local Planning Area, Thaiyur Village

The notification titled Variation to the Approved Master Plan for the Mamallapuram Local Planning Area was published as No.VI(1)/93/2020.

Key points:

• The variation was made under powers cited in the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971.
• Land use zone conversion from Agricultural use zone into Mixed Residential use zone was ordered in G.O.(2D) No: 19, Housing and Urban Development (UD4(1)] Department, dated 09-01-2020.
• In Thaiyur Village, Survey Nos. 1527 and 1528/1 are added under Mixed Residential Use Zone.
• Under Agricultural Use Zone, Survey Nos. 1506 to 1526 and 1528, except 1528/1, are substituted instead of Survey Nos. 1506 to 1528.
