What the guidance covers

The Tamil Nadu Housing Board procedures govern the online sale of available plots, flats and houses on a first come, first served basis. Applications are invited after notices in at least two leading newspapers, one Tamil and one English, and on the Tamil Nadu Housing Board website.

Allotments follow the reservation categories under Government Order (Ms.) No. 2, Housing and Urban Development Department, dated 2 January 2013. Units may also be placed in a common pool to balance reservation shortfalls or be made available to all eligible applicants.
