Launch Watch API: new project registrations week by week
Yes. The LandLens Launch Watch API returns what registered this week and in each of the last twelve: new project registrations week by week with the homes and plots filed, the CMDA permissions and the DTCP or panchayat approvals granted in the same week, the district split, and each week's projects (name, developer, district, village, kind, units, plots, stage, dates and cost as filed). Filter by districts and kinds, or use the saved choice of the account behind the credential, and read the account's shortlist. It is part of LandLens Intelligence on the enterprise plan and costs nothing per call.

A real answer from the API, trimmed for length: the current week (empty so far) and one earlier week with one of its rows are shown. Links are shown on the live host.
What it returns
One call, twelve weeks. Each week lists up to limit projects; week returns every row of one week.
| Field | What it holds |
|---|---|
following, saved_choice | What the answer follows (districts and kinds), whether that came from the call or the account's saved choice, and the saved choice itself. |
figures | This week, this month and the twelve weeks: projects, units, plots, CMDA permissions, building and layout approvals, and approvals this week. |
districts[] | The twelve weeks by district: projects, units and plots. |
weeks[] | Per week: key (YYYY-Www), label, dates, projects, units, plots, the approvals granted, rows_total and the rows. |
weeks[].rows[] | Each new project: rera_id, name, developer, district, taluk, village, kind, category, units, plots, stage, registration and completion dates, cost and site extent as filed, and shortlisted. |
shortlist | With shortlist true: the account's shortlisted projects with their notes. |
as_of | When the register was read, the latest registration held, and the approval registers' dates. |
page_url, export_url | The same view in LandLens. export_url downloads it in a signed-in browser only. |
Ways to call it
Twelve weeks by default, one week in full, or the shortlist alongside.
Twelve weeks
The last twelve weeks for the districts you send, a few rows each.
{"districts": ["Chennai"],"limit": 3}
One week in full
Every project of one week.
{"districts": ["Chengalpattu","Kancheepuram"],"week": "2026-W41"}
Whole state, with the shortlist
Ignore the saved choice and read the whole state, with the account's shortlist.
{"all": true,"shortlist": true}
Inputs
The JSON body of the POST is the arguments. With no districts and no kinds, the account's saved choice on the Launch Watch page is used. all true reads the whole state.
| Argument | Type | What to send |
|---|---|---|
districts |
array | Districts to follow; omit to use the saved choice. |
kinds |
array | Kinds to follow; omit for every kind. |
all |
boolean | true: the whole state, ignoring the saved choice. |
week |
string | One week as YYYY-Www (e.g. 2026-W39) to return every row of that week. |
shortlist |
boolean | true: also return the account's shortlist with notes. |
limit |
integer | Rows per week to return (default 10, at most 100); the week argument returns the whole week. |

What new apartment projects registered in Chennai and Chengalpattu this week and last week?
Your AI reads Launch Watch for those districts and lists each new project with its developer and homes.
Responses
Every answer has the same envelope. What status can say for this call:
| status | What it means |
|---|---|
ok | The weeks were read. A week with no filings has count 0. |
not_found | The register has not been read yet, or week is not in the form 2026-W39 or is outside the twelve weeks shown (weeks_available lists them). |
scope_denied | HTTP 403, nothing charged. The account behind the credential does not hold the enterprise plan (reason enterprise_plan, with plan_url), Intelligence is paused on the account (access_paused), or the day's allowance of rows read over the API is used (row_limit, with retry_after). |
Where the data comes from
New filings on the Tamil Nadu real estate project register, with the CMDA planning permission register and the DTCP and panchayat planning permission register for the approvals of the same weeks.
All 38 districts, the current week and the eleven before it.
as_of gives when the register was last read, the latest registration date it holds, and the dates each approval register is read to. A week can fill in after it ends, when the register publishes late filings.
A project is counted in the week of its registration date. CMDA permissions are counted only when a followed district lies in the Chennai Metropolitan Area, and approvals outside it carry no unit counts.
Who uses it
Developers and sales teams
See every competing launch in your districts each week, with its homes, cost and completion date.
Channel partners and brokers
Find new projects to sign up the week they register.
Lenders
Pick up new projects for approval as soon as they file.
Limits and good practice
- Read only. The saved choice, the shortlist and the weekly digest are changed on the Launch Watch page, never through the API.
- A week can gain rows after it ends when the register publishes a filing late. Read as_of.latest_registration.
- Approvals outside the Chennai Metropolitan Area carry no unit counts.
- Twelve weeks only. For longer runs use intel_market_pulse with a custom window.
Pricing
Launch Watch costs nothing per call. LandLens Intelligence is part of the enterprise plan: the plan is the only requirement, and a credential on an account without it is refused with nothing charged. Credits come from the same LandLens wallet as the chat and the minis. How billing works.
Free calls have an hourly and daily allowance. For more than that, or a platform built on these registers, we set up limits and a plan to match.
Questions
Is there an API for new real estate project launches in Tamil Nadu?
Yes, this one. It returns new project registrations week by week for the last twelve weeks, with the approvals granted alongside, as JSON over HTTPS or MCP.
How much does it cost?
No credits. It needs the LandLens enterprise plan; without it the call answers scope_denied with the plan page and nothing is charged.
Can I get alerts?
The weekly digest and the shortlist alerts are set on the Launch Watch page. The API reads the same weeks, so you can poll it on your own schedule.
Does it count registrations or launches?
Registrations on the project register, counted in the week of their registration date.
