Responses
Every answer has the same envelope. What status can say for this call:

Where the data comes from
Every project filing on the Tamil Nadu real estate project register, read as published, with the CMDA planning permission register and the DTCP and panchayat planning permission register for the approvals.
All 38 districts of Tamil Nadu and every filing since the register opened in 2017, about 27,000 projects when this page was written. CMDA permissions cover the Chennai Metropolitan Area; DTCP and panchayat approvals cover the rest of the state.
Our copy of the register is refreshed when the regulator updates its published lists, which is checked every three hours, and the figures are rebuilt from it every night. as_of gives the time of the last rebuild; asof reads the register as it stood on an earlier date.
Figures are summed from the filings as published. A figure a filing does not carry is left out of the sums, never counted as 0, and coverage says how many filings in the view lack each one. Late means the filed completion date has passed without a completed status.

Limits and good practice
- These are filings, not completions or sales. A project registered in a quarter may be launched later or not at all. For what sold, use intel_registrations.
- A filing that does not carry a unit count adds nothing to units; coverage.filings_without_unit_count says how many there are.
- Late is a fact about the filing (its filed date has passed without a completed status), not a verdict on the site. No progress reports are published.
- Approvals outside the Chennai Metropolitan Area carry no unit counts.
- Districts must be spelled as the register spells them; a name it does not hold comes back in filters.districts_not_on_register.
