What it returns

One call, one answer. found is false (status not_found) when the value cannot be charged, for example a nil value on a deed charged as a share of the value.

Field	What it holds

Inputs

The JSON body of the POST is the arguments. Only amount is required; deed_type defaults to a sale. For a property, send the higher of the price and the guideline value (guideline_value gives the latter).

Responses

Every answer has the same envelope. What status can say for this call:

status	What it means
`ok`	The deed was priced. An unknown deed_type also answers ok, with data.ok false, an error and valid_deed_types, so check data.ok.
`not_found`	The value cannot be charged: a nil value on a deed charged as a share of the value, share values that do not add up to amount, or more than 50 shares.
`invalid_args`	amount is missing.
`free_limit_reached`	The account has used its free calls for the hour or the day. retry_after says how many seconds to wait; paid calls keep working.

How we read it

The deed's own rule is applied to the value: a percentage, a percentage with a cap, or a fixed fee. A family partition is charged share by share, each share capped on its own, equal unless share values are given. A concession is shown beside the standard figures, never folded into them.

Limits and good practice

Tamil Nadu only.
The figure is on the value you send. The sub registrar charges a property deed on the higher of the price and the guideline value, and fixes the final demand.
Concessions are listed beside the standard figures, not applied to them. Check that the buyer qualifies.
A new flat bought from the builder is priced on the first sale slabs; first_sale_uds shows that working with the resale comparison.
