Property News API: Tamil Nadu real estate news keyed to the register
Yes. The LandLens News and Signals API returns Tamil Nadu property news from the outlets' own feeds, keyed to the developers, projects and districts on the register: the latest items in a window of 7, 30 or 90 days with each feed's own summary and link, their tags (RERA, stalled or revived, court and enforcement, policy, launches, infrastructure, tax, prices), the developers mentioned most with their latest headline, and the items grouped by signal. Narrow it to one developer or project, a district, a tag or a word. It is part of LandLens Intelligence on the enterprise plan and costs nothing per call.

A real answer from the API, trimmed for length: two items, one developer and one signal group are shown, and the long feed links are shortened. Links are shown on the live host.
What it returns
One call, one window. found is false (status not_found) when no item matches.
| Field | What it holds |
|---|---|
figures | Items held, items this week, and the developers, projects and signals in the window. |
items[] | Each item: title, the outlet's link, source_name, published_at, date_label, the outlet's summary, image, tags, city and links to register rows it is keyed to. |
tags | How many items in the window carry each tag. |
developers_mentioned[] | The developers named most in the window, with mentions, their latest headline and link, and the confidence of the name match. |
signals[] | Items grouped by tag (stalled or revived, court, RERA, policy, infrastructure and the rest), with the count. |
paging | The page of items, 25 a page. |
as_of | When the feeds were last read, how many items and feeds are held, and any feed failing. |
page_url, export_url | The same view in LandLens. export_url downloads it in a signed-in browser only. |

The JSON body of the POST is the arguments. Every input is optional. With none, the last 30 days across the state.

What has been in the news about stalled or revived projects in Chennai this month?
Your AI reads the news tagged stalled for Chennai and lists the headlines with their outlets.
Responses
Every answer has the same envelope. What status can say for this call:
| status | What it means |
|---|---|
ok | At least one item matches. |
not_found | No item matches the filters, no project with that registration number or developer with that id is held, or no news has been read yet. message says which. |
scope_denied | HTTP 403, nothing charged. The account behind the credential does not hold the enterprise plan (reason enterprise_plan, with plan_url), Intelligence is paused on the account (access_paused), or the day's allowance of rows read over the API is used (row_limit, with retry_after). |
Where the data comes from
The published news feeds of business and property outlets, read as the outlets publish them, matched to the developers, projects and districts on the Tamil Nadu real estate project register.
Every item the followed feeds have published since they were first read; as_of gives how many items and feeds are held and whether any feed is failing.
The feeds are read every three hours. as_of gives the last read and its status.
Headlines and summaries are the outlets' own, and each item links to the outlet. An item is keyed to a developer or project by a name match on its text, which is a lead to read, not a finding. Tags are assigned from the text.
Who uses it
Lenders and credit teams
Watch the news on the developers you lend to, with court and stalled project items flagged.
Developers and strategy teams
Follow competitors' launches and the policy news that moves your districts.
Property apps and assistants
Answer "what is being said about this builder" with headlines and links, not opinion.
Limits and good practice
- A developer or project match is a name match on the text, a lead to read and not a finding. Read the article.
- Tags are assigned from the text and can be broad. An item tagged court is about a court, not necessarily about property.
- Headlines and summaries are the outlets' own. Follow the link for the full story; the article itself is not returned.
- Some feeds carry national news. city and district say where an item is keyed; filter by district for Tamil Nadu only.
Pricing
News and Signals costs nothing per call. LandLens Intelligence is part of the enterprise plan: the plan is the only requirement, and a credential on an account without it is refused with nothing charged. Credits come from the same LandLens wallet as the chat and the minis. How billing works.
Free calls have an hourly and daily allowance. For more than that, or a platform built on these registers, we set up limits and a plan to match.
Questions
Is there an API for Tamil Nadu real estate news?
Yes, this one. It returns property news items with the outlet's summary and link, tagged and keyed to developers and projects, as JSON over HTTPS or MCP.
How much does it cost?
No credits. It needs the LandLens enterprise plan; without it the call answers scope_denied with the plan page and nothing is charged.
Can I get the news on one developer?
Yes. Send developer_id from intel_developer_profile, or project with a registration number, and only the items keyed to it come back.
How often is it updated?
The feeds are read every three hours; as_of gives the last read.
